§ 83-8. Powers and duties of the Board of Review.

  • At the time and place during the hours specified in the notice given pursuant to § 1064 of the Real Property Tax Law, the Board of Review shall meet to hear complaints relating to assessments brought before it. At the meeting of the Board of Review to hear complaints in relation to real property assessments brought before it, such Board shall have all of the powers and duties prescribed by Title One-A of the Real Property Tax Law and any other law. The Board of Review may adjourn from time to time for the purpose of hearing complaints and shall have authority to accept a complaint on any adjourned day; provided, however, that hearings shall not be adjourned beyond the 15th day of the following month.
